I help individual investors—beginners to veteran do-it-yourself investors —who are often overlooked by Wall Street.

After graduating from Cornell University, I worked as a stock market data analyst, calculating the indexes you hear about every day, like the S&P 500.

But the real story starts after I left that job.

From Wall Street Job to Independent Investor

When my role was outsourced to India, I found myself unemployed and in debt.

While many of their peers were worried about making their retirement savings last, my parents were living better than ever.

After being laid off a second time, I turned to my dad—and that changed the course of my life.

He shared with me the strategy that had quietly tripled his net worth during retirement. He showed me how to think independently, dig into the numbers, and invest with confidence.

That method transformed our family's financial future—and now, it's the foundation of everything I teach.

Turning Experience Into Education

I passed the Series 65 exam required to become a licensed financial advisor. But instead of managing other people’s money, I chose a different path:
Teaching people how to manage their own.

Since then, I’ve been invited to speak at universities, investment clubs, and financial events around the country. I write for Forbes.com, focusing on practical investing strategies for real people. Over a million readers have learned from my articles.
